يحتضن خليج العقبة شعاباً مرجانية تُعدّ من بين الأكثر تحمّلاً لارتفاع حرارة المياه في العالم، ما يجعلها كنزاً بيئياً وعلمياً يستحق الحماية. نعمل على رصد صحة الشعاب بشكل دوري، وتوثيق التنوّع الحيوي البحري، ومتابعة المخاطر التي تهدّدها.
نتعاون مع الغوّاصين المتطوّعين والمختصّين في حملات المراقبة والتنظيف تحت الماء، ونطلق برامج توعية تُعرّف روّاد البحر بالسلوكيات التي تحافظ على الشعاب أثناء الغوص والسباحة وصيد الأسماك.The Gulf of Aqaba hosts some of the world's most heat-tolerant coral reefs — an environmental and scientific treasure worth protecting. We monitor reef health regularly, document marine biodiversity, and track the threats reefs face.
We work with volunteer divers and specialists on monitoring and underwater clean-up campaigns, and run awareness programs that teach sea-goers the behaviours that protect reefs while diving, swimming and fishing.
